This shows the need to enhance awareness that it is not only the eyes and lungs that may be impacted, and that certain air pollutants can move from the lungs to deep inside the body causing extensive health damage to different parts of the body.
Long-term exposure to #AirPollution has been linked to an increased risk of dying from #COVID19 . Not just hawkers, but majority of other groups also felt there is no correlation between the two.

The PMC presented the Air Action Plan to citizens for suggestions virtually after efforts from Parisar and other CSO’s. The discussion bought out the gaps in the intent and outcomes of the plan. Does your city have an AAP and were citizens involved in its making?
