@_LatitudeMedia@Stphn_Lacey which of these 2026 Public Service Commission races are you watching? Where do we have a chance to have an impact on a state's electrification, transmission buildout, and rapid adoption of renewable generation?
@311DCgov@CMLewisGeorgeW4 I know this is a tough challenge to plow the neighborhoods, but the 300 block of Shepherd St NW still has yet to see a snow plow. Same goes for surrounding streets. SUV's continue to speed down the block with no ability to stop.
@311DCgov can you send a plow down the 300 block of Shepherd St NW? We still have yet to be plowed and it's a very steep street with frequent traffic off of Rock Creek Church Rd. I have seen many SUVs speeding down with no ability to stop due to the packed up "snowcrete".
A plow attempted to drive "up" the steep hill last night, with the blade up, and got stuck a few times. Please advise they enter the 300 block of Shepherd St NW from Rock Creek Church Rd so they go down with gravity. Oh and lowering the blade helps too.
@311DCgov@DCDPW@311DCgov@CMLewisGeorgeW4 the SR was closed but the bulk trash was never collected. The garbage truck drove over all of the piles of trash and spread throughout the alley. This is a real problem for the alley btwn Shepherd St NW and Rock Creek Church Rd.
@311DCgov large pile of trash behind 314 Shepherd St NW. Garbage truck drove thru alley and did not collect any of this, drove over bags and spread trash throughout alleyway.
@311DCgov large tree branch fell on sidewalk. Blocking sidewalk and damage parked cars. Taylor St NW btwn GA Ave and 8th st, south side, opposite petworth rec center.
UPDATE: DC Water has lifted the boil water advisory after tests confirmed drinking water meets all water quality safety standards. All customers in the impact area can use tap water for all purposes. Please follow the instructions in the full notice at https://t.co/cDqbLidZ0r
Some solar companies in the Mid-Atlantic have stopped looking for sites for utility-scale installations in the region due to PJM’s current moratorium on allowing new projects to apply for interconnection.

@311DCgov@DDOTDC@BrianneKNadeau could someone put up signage along Kenyon St btwn Sherman and GA to notify bike Lane users that road work has closed off the bike lane? Got into a hairy close call with a sudden end to the bike lane opposite an oncoming truck.
@johnarnold Also solar in East and Midwest is ramped up to peak production during the west coast morning peaks, before West Coast solar has ramped up. West Coast solar continues producing during East and Midwest evening peaks. Lot of mutual benefits. Great thread!
