Hear from 2006 boy John Bence and coach @jgvelotta on their journey so far and what it means to win their group at the @nationalleague #earnyourplace 💪

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

Very proud of our John, our team and our club on qualifying for Nationals. Exciting to see what more they can achieve. #usys #EarnYourPlace

[National League @NationalLeague]

The boys action heated up under the desert sun as more teams clinched the top spot on the road to Nationals. Check out the sights from the last day of matches in Mesa, AZ. #EarnYourPlace

That’s a dive by Rodgers. If he stays on his feet he scores. VAR can’t intervene since it was outside the box.

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

Ethan’s finish was exceptional but his celebration was even more awesome - proud of him and what a win #gocrusaders

[Aquinas Academy @AquinasAcademy_]

John Paul Calvino & Jake Likoudis each scored in regulation to send the boys to OT 2-2 w/ Riverview last night. Tommy Quinn set up Ethan Atta, who shot and scored 40 seconds into the extra frame for a 3-2 win!

This was ruled offside during ⁦@ArsenalFCofPgh⁩ 2006 Boys’ win at the Regional tournament yesterday... 🤔These events are learning opportunities for the officials too I guess. Fortunately it didn’t affect the result. Good luck to the lads in their match today.

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

He’s our number 23. Wishing Christian Eriksen a speedy and full recovery.

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

And won it playing the right way...Fantastic team performance. Good luck at Regionals boys.

Steelers fans watching Brady throw a Super Bowl touchdown to AB...

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

@BrandiCugini @AquinasAcademy_ He is an amazing player. Now if we can just get him to consider playing at our (mine and Ruth’s) alma mater, Rollins College in FL, after he graduates! I am sure he has bigger things in mind but we have to try!

[Steve Bence @stevebence10]

Win or lose, we love watching our @AquinasAcademy_ boys basketball team play especially Vinnie Cugini. More impressive to me than the points are his humility, work ethic and drive to improve. We’re so happy our John gets to play alongside him and learn with him. @BrandiCugini

[Aquinas Academy @AquinasAcademy_]

Congrats to Vinnie Cugini, recognized as @PittsburghPG Athlete of the Week! Vinnie netted 55 points in a game last week and 52 points last night! Teammate John Bence, a freshman, also hit double digits last night, w/ 16 points against section 4 St. Joseph. 👏
