@BBCLookEast I’d like to point out that like medicine the dental undergraduate course is five years long (plus vocational training) so entrants to UEA’s new dental school next year will not be part of the workforce until 2032 at the earliest. Not the two years that was implied.
@LNER Why do the rules never seem to apply to the 2333 service from KX to Peterborough? It just seems to leave whenever it wants to (2338 tonight). If it takes the scheduled 44 minutes I’ll eat my hat.
@LNER Inform your announcer on the ‘23.33’ from KX that there is no such town as ‘Huntington’. Secondly tell him not to announce an arrival time in Peterborough of 0034 after an est. of 0029 for ‘Huntington’. Made up. Now 0051 and nowhere near ‘Huntington’.
@British_Airways Submitted a delay compensation claim. Have tracked it with claim number and it says case closed. No explanation. No email received despite one being promised. What do I do?
@UK_Needs_Reform All dentists who offer NHS services in a general practice setting are independent contractors. They don’t work directly for the NHS and consequently the government cannot tell them to take anyone on. It just isn’t possible.
@BurdisSally @jennyeclair Yes, if your train is cancelled by them you’re entitled to a full refund and to travel on the next available train. It’s not a bad deal really.
@ailsa_xx We were grumbling about the unfairness of that. Je t’aime before the options came up but La Bamba really muddied the waters. Felt like a trick question which they don’t do as a rule.
@LNER My 1418 service to Ncle from Pboro was cancelled. I’ve taken your advice to not travel today. Can I confirm my ticket will be valid on any service tomorrow?
@BBCR4Feedback@BBCRadio2 Part of the problem is replacing professional lifelong radio broadcasters with parachuted in celebrities. I’ve no idea how you fix that quickly.
