@RoKhanna Your family is worth over $100 million. And you donate to your family foundation and private charities, very generous!
Curious, why don't you donate to public charities instead (state/ federal government)?
Why don't you voluntarily pay the proposed wealth tax now?
In less than 6 minutes, I'll show you how to avoid being double-taxed on your restricted stock units (RSUs)
Everything you need to know to avoid this mistake and maybe get some money back in your pocket.
FYI - Your tax pro/ CPA might be making this mistake, too.
LLCs are completely overhyped.
Here's what you actually need to know:
I don't know who needs to hear this but there are no huge tax secrets when you open and use an LLC.
It stands for Limited Liability Company.
It's job is to do one thing only:
Separation of assets.
So when it comes to legal and debt issues?
Anything in the LLC is subject to these matters.
And that keeps your personal assets separated from them.
However, within an LLC, you can change the entity structure and the election.
Whether that is being a:
- Sole proprietorship
- Partnership
- S-Corp
- C-Corp
- Etc.
This determines how your revenue is passed through and taxed.
The choice of which depends on multiple variables like:
- Amount of employees
- Goals for company growth
- Total revenue for the year
- Taxation preferences
- Maintenance
- Costs
- Etc.
But this is purely the election type with an entity.
The LLC itself just limits that liability.
Having one isn't some tax hack.
The entity type matters here.
Big difference!
Great planning addition for my self-employed and small business clients.
@Holistiplan with some 🔥 updates.

@samueldeane Couldn't agree more. I'm building very slowly while I continue to work in the fintech space. Too many people stop working cold turkey and underestimate just how long it takes to build a book.

The older I get the more I realize that the only way to not get screwed by insurance policy price increases is to constantly shop around for new providers.
Is there a better way? I swear the whole business model is engineered to get you in the door & then raise rates over time
If I'm ever in a business partnership with someone, I hope we'd be able to part ways the way the co-founders of @Holistiplan have.
Very cool, very personal, very authentic video.

Hey @GoogleMyBiz I need to submit a new verification video because the first one didn’t work. Can your team send me a link to do so? I’ve already asked multiple times and have yet to get a helpful response on how to fix it.
@mitchdmoore I have literally run into the same issue... I have sent my documents in multiple times to appeal the lack of verification and they just keep asking for the same things over and over again. Makes no sense. Also, no number to call into, even at request.
Nearly every executive I work with is in the 37% bracket before any equity comp vesting or exercise.
So, unless they elect a higher withholding rate, up to $1M of equity comp taxes are withheld at 22%, but taxed at 37%.
That leaves potential for up to $150k of under-withholding
