Why was @sama fired? Maybe it’s because he appeared too conscious to where #AI is heading, after all he was a Co-founder and #OpenAI was set up to protect humanity. Today the company has become #ClosedAI and all about the money! This is a sad day for us all.

@georg_westin Mental health, it’s an emerging pandemic. During Covid-19, more people in Japan committed suicide than died of the virus. We need more support tools for mental health and I think gamification of our mental health could be a viable solution.

AI therapy along with other emotional support tools (including) synthetic love will hold many millions of people together, especially when our AI really understands us. Personally I’m in favour though I appreciate the downsides of artificially dealing with real life’s challenges.

In the future, once the robustness of our models will exceed some threshold, we will have *wildly effective* and dirt cheap AI therapy. Will lead to a radical improvement in people’s experience of life. One of the applications I’m most eagerly awaiting.
