I interviewed @mkazin almost 15 years ago about his book "A Godly Hero," which I recommend. In preparation for that, I watched an excellent CSPAN interview of Kazin and William G. Thomas by @SteveScully where they toured Jennings home.

Jennings and his wife shared a large partner's desk at their Nebraska home (which CSPAN filmed and which should still exist in the archive). I've floated the idea of getting one of these to my wife, but zoom calls have probably killed whatever demand was left for these.

On a separate note, we need more public and public-private initiatives that provide quality information to the public like CSPAN. I was obsessed with their programing as a young man.
