@lsv I'm playing The One Ring in a controllish shell, sadly, but it's led to some fun and interesting choices about when to play and use it. A surprisingly fun limited card.
@ErikRobson Just to clarify, I intentionally didn't heart this tweet. It's not a bug. I looked at this tweet, and thought, nope, not gonna do it. Pass. Scroll on. I hope that eliminates any confusion.
@jessefuchs "Aw, I can't wait to click and see more of this adorable serv-- FUCK!"
On the plus side, if not for this serval posting bot, we never would have caught conclusive evidence of how demons are infiltrating our dimension.
@BunchesOfBees Yeah I am really enjoying it. It's been interesting to see how folks who didn't read the books have reacted to the show. Last 2 episodes are going to be a ride.
@BunchesOfBees "Incredible writing" is not something I'd associate with it, if we're talking about the quality of the prose. And pacing-wise, it really is a collection of short stories and novellas. I quite enjoyed it, but do not expect it to ever become Gene Wolfe.
There's a "trick" (read: bug) in Psychonauts which speedrunners have dubbed "Load Save Displacement". This trick not only lets them skip getting the cobweb duster, but also allows them to completely bypass Fred, Edgar, Gloria and even the Asylum climb. That's... pretty major.
@ErikRobson I did a one day jam with a few folks using Roblox, knowing almost nothing coming in. It was great being able to collab on multiplayer stuff almost effortlessly. Multiplayer by default is so rad.
@SeamusBlackley I get more into sports when things are going badly. In those times itβs nice to get really invested in something that just doesnβt fucking matter in the slightest.
@keescheese You can avoid all this with the beauty of abstraction! You want an ItemInteractionDecisionFactory, which yields ItemInteractionAllowedQuery items, which we pass to our QueryEvaluationAsyncExecutor, which eventually returns... let's say a JSON string? #programmingisbeautiful
