Congratulations to the entire SpaceX team on an exciting second integrated flight test of Starship!
Starship successfully lifted off under the power of all 33 Raptor engines on the Super Heavy Booster and made it through stage separation
Super Heavy Booster 9 static fire successfully lit all 33 Raptor engines, with all but two running for the full duration. Congratulations to the SpaceX team on this exciting milestone!
Last week marked the end of 7 years at SpaceX. I started on the first drone ship landing, witnessed booster reflight and manned space travel, ending after the first Starship ortibal attempt. It has truly been an epic ride!
I’m thankful for all the people I got to work with and believe SpaceX is such a special and unique place to work. #spacex
I am also grateful for the people I got to work beyond SpaceX at Tesla, Boring Company, Neuralink, Twitter (again), and more.
This is not a render. This is not a simulation. This is @SpaceX’s first integrated test flight of #Starship with the Super Heavy booster, the world’s largest and most powerful rocket to ever fly. This #slomo is from our 8k tracker shot by @considercosmos.
Teams continue working towards Thursday, April 20 for the first flight test of a fully integrated Starship and Super Heavy rocket → https://t.co/30pJlZmrTQ
