Beto organized phonebanks to call 780,000 Texas seniors to check in on them and help them access food and shelter.
AOC raised $1 million in relief aid for Texas in a single day and is flying down to Houston.
Ted Cruz flew to Cancun and when he got caught blamed it on his kids.
When you’re a right-wing d-bag who’s been drinking Trump brand stupid flakes for the last few years, you can convince yourself that Biden should’ve used Texas resources on a trip there and it’s cool that Cruz did the same for a damn vacation.
"The mob was fed lies. They were provoked by the president and other powerful people, & they tried to use fear & violence to stop a specific proceeding of the first branch of the federal government..." -Mitch McConnell shortly after Jan 6.
He voted not guilty today.
The House managers did a magnificent job. I’m just baffled by one small thing that would not, in the end, have changed the outcome.
Rep. @HerreraBeutler told her story about the row between Trump & @GOPLeader to her local newspaper A MONTH AGO.
Did they not know about it?
Time to go after all the Senate Republicans who are up for reelection in 2022.
They've shown their true colors during #TrumpImpeachment. It's #GOPCorruptionOverCountry.
The Republican Party is broken. Let's go take their seats. Who's in? #KarmaCrew

Pelosi just skewered McConnell's argument against impeachment by reminding everyone, as I wrote earlier, that it was McConnell who refused to allow the Senate trial to take place on Jan. 15.
Pelosi, who joins presser late, rails on Senate GOP, and calls them a “cowardly group of Republicans who are afraid to do their job and respect the institution in which they serve.” She bashes McConnell for not bringing the Senate back early to hold trial in Trump’s final days
Wining a key vote to *call witnesses* -- and then not actually calling any witnesses -- would mark quite the reversal by House Managers at the most pivotal point in the trial of Donald Trump.
He tried to bully state officials into overturning the election. When that didn’t work, he organized a violent mob on the day of the vote count in Congress, riled it up and sent it to the Capitol. When the violence began, he celebrated.
If that’s not impeachable, what is?
My honest question is how many members of Congress would have had to die for the GOP to vote to convict? One? Five? A dozen? And would the death of a Democratic member have changed votes? I fear not.
The #FBI has brought to justice many of the participants in the violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, but more people are still at large. If you know the individual shown here, submit a tip at https://t.co/iL7sD5efWD. When leaving a tip, refer to photo 227.
Sen. McConnell, who voted not guilty, says, "There's no question — none — that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day. No question about it."
Thank you Republican Senators for voting to put 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 over party and award Trump the nougat impeachment conviction votes in American history.

But it wasn't enough. Your colleagues are all with the cop killer mob.
#impeachment
I mean, we've now had two presidential impeachment "trials" in which a grand total of zero witnesses were called, and which will have resulted in acquittals, despite overwhelming evidence of guilt.
