Interesting post linking exercise to metabolic health benefits.
eBalance in an observational trial showed results that handily beat exercise:
Systolic Blood Pressure - down 14 points.
Diastolic Blood Pressure - down 8 points.
Fasting Glucose - down 1.28 mmol/L
In addition, fasting insulin dropped by 47%.
It would be great to see the results if eBalance were to be combined with exercise.
"Yes, a high VO2 max means your heart and lungs work well. It measures endurance. It does not measure youth."
Your heart and lungs working well isn't the end game. There is a reason that you're in better health if your heart and lungs work well.
They deliver oxygen to your cells where it's used to create and deliver energy. And that energy is used to keep your brain, and your pancreas, and your liver, and your skin and all of your organs and tissues and muscles healthy. Take away that oxygen enabled energy and your body ages faster and loses its ability to heal itself.
@Mangan150 I am, but it's not a drug, it's an electroceutical device called eBalance.
It targets the mitochondria and ATP production.

Although difficult to read for the layman, this is an extraordinary paper that helps to explain so much regarding metabolic health.
Every fitness expert and health consultant should read the paper and learn to explain it in layman terms to their clients so they understand why they are being asked to do so much for their health.
And if the theory behind ERP could ever turn into a legitimate biomarker and not just a theory, it will be one of the most important markers to monitor for your health.
@ifixhearts I hear this a lot.
Is fasting insulin included on a standard blood test in America?
Or are doctors still monitoring fasting glucose as the key indicator for metabolic health?
@VanceE Perhaps he was disagreeing with your risk/reward analysis considering that the Tylenol use would have been temporary and you were in pain, rather than that Tylenol messes with glutathione.
