@ClintonDesveaux And let us not forget: Pete Hoekstra was born in 1952 in Groningen, in the Netherlands. Just seven years earlier, the 2nd Canadian Division had liberated the town, at a cost of 43 Canadian lives.
@brianlilley@acoyne@USAmbCanada It's time to shunt Hoekstra homeward, just as was done with de Gaulle in 1967. There's a coincidental irony which makes their rudenesses even more egregious. 1000s of Canadians had died liberating de Gaulle's homeland in WW2, and dozens more liberating Hoekstra's Dutch hometown.
@TeamPatMCL@Martyupnorth There's no universally-recognized definition of "baby boomers", but it's generally applied fo those born in the two decades after WW2, which makes them all over 60.
So you're saying that most whites in Alberta are over 60 and will die off shortly?
@brianlilley "Colbert's not very funny"
"He has a huge staff"
Now you're just jumping on the bandwagon of the MAGA folks, parroting their lines for clicks.
So pathetic.
@GeoKChester@jkenney Alberta Conservatives are overrepresented in the HoC. Alberta CPC candidates got 7.31% of the total votes cast across Canada (1.44M of 19.64M) and yet got 9.91% of the HoC seats (34 of 343).

@Kathryn35222642@Martyupnorth No, that's not how it works. The individual paid about $13k towards their taxes over the course of the year, but it was eventually determined that they only had to pay $9k in taxes, so they got $4k back. So taxes paid = $9k, roughly $6k federal and $3k Alberta.
@ImGoodallKnight@thedaywar90 Is it really his right? Can't private businesses impose whatever behavior and dress requirements they want, as long as it isn't with respect to prohibited grounds of discrimination (e.g. race, sex)?
@atrupar Don't read too much into this. He's only trying to get people ready for the upcoming announcement that he's picked Donald Trump to be the next James Bond.
