🚨🚨BREAKING: #Bears QB Caleb Williams is QUESTIONABLE for MNF vs the #Vikings after taking this nasty hit from Isiah Pacheco last night.
Williams was obliviously standing on the sidelines and did not see Pacheco barreling his way.
Ouch. 😳😳😳

Another Mo Disasterclass! #STLCards
We’re beyond the All Star Break…
No #STLCards SP has an ERA under 4. Three of the SPs are closer to 5 than 4. The staff is 28th in BBs and Ks.
No hitter has more than 12 HRs.
Let’s stop shaming the fans for not showing up to watch this unfold #ForTheLou
Dear Parents:
It goes fast!! We have three children. Our oldest (boy) is 22, our middle (boy) will be 20 in a month and our youngest (girl) will be 17 in a few months. All three have played youth sports at some point with our youngest getting ready for her sophomore year of HS volleyball followed by soccer and then track.
We talk a lot about youth sports, how to play them, teach them and support our kids playing them. But in the end it’s about the people we are raising. Helping them become the best people they can be. This youth and amateur sports part of their life is a temporary phase. In the end it will have been such a short part of their life but a phase that can help set them up for success in life. I suggest being very careful of letting the “game” become bigger than what it really is and make sure there is a relentless focus on the process of personal growth it provides.
Getting to play:
Pro baseball is a blessing
College baseball is a blessing
HS baseball is a blessing
Youth Baseball is a blessing
Never take for granted every opportunity when you get to play! There are so many that will never get these opportunities, so consider it a blessing and be thankful for the health and the gifts that you’re blessed with!🙏🏽

Pitchers:
You’ve chosen to play the most mentally demanding position on the field. Not only do you have to deal with your own mistakes, failures and errors (and be able to move on within seconds), you have to manage your emotions after your teammates errors, umpires missed calls, the weather, poor pitching mound conditions while even sometimes pitching to a catcher who is struggling receiving the ball and still be able to throw competitive pitch after competitive pitch.
It’s all part of the gig though. You’ll never be able to get away from these things. Your weakness is complaining and blaming these things for your performance while your strength can be how you handle all of it with grace allowing you to be present in the moment and be competitive with each pitch.
No one is saying this is easy but understanding what comes with it will help you to better evaluate and prepare for your next opportunity.
