@ericjackson I’m not trying to be presumptuous or seem like I’m trying to demand you do something- I’m just hoping for a moment of your attention- to describe what I consider to be a 100x idea- a concept you have recently brought to the forefront of the market zeitgeist $BB It’s supposed to say “EJ X BB” **this does not constitute a recommendation or position from @ericjackson - I just wanted his ear- and I thought this might get his attention- as he seems to be a man who values unconventional methods cc @Drake** I just want to show that the $bb army works weekends too, and respects your @drake hustle for $open Your “100x” style picks have gathered a lot of attention - and for good reason- by picking real, logical 100x opportunities like $cvna $iren $cifr and $open - you’ve shown ppl moonshots can be real if you look at the opportunities that others have become indifferent to w fresh eyes @MilkRoadDaily Ever since you’ve been more prominently in the zeitgeist in recent months- your approach has resonated w many fellow $bb believers (many of whom have joined the $open army and contributed) - (cc @ACInvestorBlog @pdamodaran )) I think that’s bc many of us view @BlackBerry as a 100x opportunity- a concept you have given life to recently $BB - from its lows of ≈ $1.2b MC I think is indeed a very plausible/conservative 100x opportunity over the next 5-10 years Without getting too granular- let me get into why 1. QNX- the attached $NVDA -related images speak a 1000 words, don’t they? I don’t want to get too bogged down in the details - but here’s an overview- This applies to both automotive systems and robotics- and it’s not just $nvda - it’s $amd , $qcom , etc In Asia it’s in $byd , BAIDU, APOLLO, FOXCONN, MIH, etc It’s in 24/25 major OEMs - and they will be needing $bb now more than ever if you heed the comments @bgurley said were made by Ford’s ceo cc @BG2Pod Management has said QNX’s GEM market is growing faster than automotive- and they have previously said that their ≈ 900m backlog will begin converting the second half of this year (NOW) - so it’s ON And it’s only going to get more “ON” - and sustainably so - imho @BlackBerry management has referenced potentially going to a subscription model (if I’m not mistaken this was at an investment conference in June) - this could mark a step change/huge jump in $bb rev if implemented in any capacity Jensen Huang the Godfather of AI- has said physical AI is the next wave of this revolution $bb is the safety certified OS for physical AI On top of that - for the first time ever (due to cylance sale/QNX’s growth)- QNX now represents about half of $bb ‘s total revenue- so it’s rocket ship growth will be reflected more prominently in top line growth from this point forward Lastly these trends that benefit QNX are very long term trends that will ultimately culminate w every car having some type of ADAS- and the world being totally transformed by robotics/autonomy- so very likely a multi decade trend For more color on this space/QNX - I would recommend the driving with dunne podcast episode’s w QNX’s John Wall He refers to it as a platform a great many times cc @BradPorter_ Also listen to the @NoPriorsPod w the Applied Intuition guys for more color on the space and the diverse sectors (aka future breadth) the market will see (more on Applied Intuition shortly)
