Rescue Callout Saturday 5/2/22

The team were called out at around 18.25 for a family of four who became lost whilst walking on Bleaklow, their intention was to walk to the B-29 and back to Snake Summit. The family did not set off until 4pm with fading light in poor weather.

Rescue Callout Sunday 17/10/21

The team was called out at 18.20 for a male who had sustained a lower leg injury whilst descending Shining Clough.
As the team were mobilising, information came through to say the male had made his own way down to The Lodge.

Rescue Callout Saturday 31/7/21

The team was called out at 18.15 by North West Ambulance Service (NWAS), to assist with the evacuation of an injured off-road motorcyclist from fields near Charlesworth. Medical assistance was provided by paramedics and a helimed crew.

The team was called out today at around 12.30 for a 73 year old female who had slipped, broken and dislocated her ankle while walking her dog on a muddy track in Tintwistle.

The team was called out at 17.30 for two females who became lost whilst walking on Bleaklow.
The pair had set off earlier in the day from the Black Clough area. Due to challenging conditions and fading light the pair became disoriented.

Early Saturday morning the team were contacted by Northwest Ambulance Service, to assist them and Great Manchester Fire and Rescue Service with a 30 year old female in the Romiley,Stockport area, that had
sustained a lower leg injury.

The team were called out on Saturday at 17.15, for a couple in their twenties who got themselves benighted.The couple found themselves on steep ground and was unable to continue their decent.
