@vanschneider Appreciate the insight. It’d be helpful to understand specifically what kind of design projects/disciplines/tasks are being delegated to AI? Is it the master or the slave?
@danmall Might I ask why the list of folk you mentioned are creative-leaning public figures?
Historically, taste in design has typically been aligned with aesthetic.
Broadly speaking, taste to me is expressions that shape culture.
@gabrielvaldivia You’re a couple steps ahead of where smartphones are likely headed 👏
Patina’s special sauce is the many sources of truth. Great for folk who aren’t so good at getting the scattered bits and pieces into a consolidated calendar (daily todo).
@ryolu_ Wow Ryo! Really enjoyed this thesis! For years I felt two things: prejudice towards people who ship; and the marginalisation of people who ship. “Delivery” has been a dirty word, but it’s hard. Making real, functional things is hard. You simply can’t plan for everything upstream.
@drewwilson@OpacityHQ Super excited for Opacity! I hate drawing screens for devs! I feel like there’s two design modes: discovering and delivering. The former is philosophical and unstructured. The later is about clarity and systemisation. Perhaps different design tools serve different design modes?
