When will the SEC start to enforce insider trading laws for lawmakers? For far too long congress has blatantly traded on insider information with immunity, making hundreds of millions in the process. It’s time to show the American people there is only one tier system of justice and it needs to be applied to members of congress too. I’m sure the SEC has been scared to act in the past but hopefully this administration has enough moral courage to stand up and do something about it.

It is incredible how far the Democratic Party has moved politically. Just listen to @BarackObama on immigration 20 years ago. @HillaryClinton spoke similarly back then.

The question of course is why. The answer I believe is not a change in fundamental views, but rather a tactical one. At some point, the Democratic Party believed it had a higher likelihood of staying in power if our country had open borders.

When did this take place? What was the catalyst for this reversal of views?
