@suzmaciver Hi my luggage was missing for 20 days in total. I just went to see if I could get some info. It was hq at lochside avenue at gyle. By chance that’s where they were storing my case. It wasn’t scanned on arrival so wasn’t sure it was in edi.

@JosephMcGinley8 Read about someone last week bought a cheap one way ticket to Dublin went though departures and straight to arrivals and picked up his bag!

@northerngrit73 My case was in the HQ at Loch side avenue and they just appeared with it from the tag number. My case was missing from 19 June.

@JENNIFE74552908 @CarolSibbald2 Hi visited the depot at Loch side avenue. I flew BA on 19th june and the BA system said one case was scheduled from LHR to edi on 30th. But no one could tell me If it was on the flight or not. I visited lochside avenue taking a chance for info on 8th July and they had it there

@CarolSibbald2 @British_Airways Carol. On the off chance after 20 days of missing my case I turned up (really just in the hope get info) to the Menzies hq at gyle in edinburgh and they had my case there. Might be worth a try although my case arrived in edi on 30/6.

After 20 days, Pleased to report have tracked down my case in @MenziesAviation offsite office. Never been so thrilled to do my holiday washing. Thanks to @MenziesAviation who are working all the hours. Not thanks to @British_Airways who have been no help. @EDI_Airport

@Hawaii_Fife_0 Hi no, we just turned up on the off chance they could give us some info tbh. Took baggage tags and passport but they didn’t need passport. And they produced the case.

@paige_bateman2 @mrjwhite1989 Check the tweet from edi airport. Depends on your airline. Menzies have an offsite office at gyle area that I found and I found mine there. Just turned up without appt. Swissport I think have a ware house somewhere.

@Hu81310317Hunt Yes Edinburgh. My case went missing in Heathrow and then transferred to edi but nobody could confirm it arrived. I have heard of some airlines taking groups into baggage at Heathrow to look.
