@DavidMc47629196@KathleenWinche3 David and Kathleen, @RepBrandonGill is growing on me. He's levelheaded, calm, and gets his point across without being disrespectful. Earlier this year, he called out the hypocrisy of NPR and PBS and their respective CEOs.
@kareemjeanjr@SenTinaSmith In some states it is actually cheaper to be on Medicaid then under the ACA, if your AGI is near the federal poverty level. No premiums, no deductible, $0 out of pocket max. The system is really screwed up.
@kareemjeanjr@SenTinaSmith From what I have seen under the ACA, the more money you make the higher the monthly premium and the less of a subsidy you receive. Sliding scale.
broad example
$20,000 AGI - $1000 per month premium. I pay
$300/month. I receive $700 month subsidy.
@kareemjeanjr@SenTinaSmith In order to qualify for subsidies under the ACA, depending on the state in which one lives, the individual must have an adjusted gross income above 100% or 133% of the federal poverty level which is around $15,500. If your AGI below this $ amount, you are diverted to Medicaid.
@Noscito_Ryan@crazycopvideos Ryan, thx for video link. Iโm not sure why, but your post was buried at the bottom of those who posted replies. I must have scrolled by around 100 replies before I luckily found your post. Again, thx for providing the link
@knoweuro@GoodwinMJ@narindertweets I had no idea who this chick was. I used the twitter handle that you provided and took a look at some of her tweets. She gets ratioed about 75% of the time.
