Solana just casually hit 10,000 TPS a few hours ago.

That’s literally the core performance narrative monad has been selling to everyone.

If Solana can already do this at scale, what do we still need monad for?

@mikeinweb Totally fair, Solana TPS includes vote txs and isn’t directly comparable to EVM execution throughput.

My point isn’t that they’re identical, but that raw performance is no longer scarce.

For new L1s, the edge has to be more than “we’re fast.”
