@gakonst Is the baseline solc --via-ir with the optimizer on, or the legacy pipeline? via-IR compile times are the main reason teams still avoid it, so beating it on both speed and gas would be the real unlock.

If the drop is big enough that liquidators can't cover the debt, lenders eat the shortfall.

Stani picked Coinbase's version because it gives holders the most direct relationship with the underlying.
