Happy to get this right, Ph3 data supportive of me-better, still have readouts in 2027, well capitalized co $PCVX, 35 valent competition still years away.
One of the most counterintuitive lessons I've learned:
If you know someone who recently "won," there's a very good chance they're not doing well and could use a friend.
$PCVX context on competition, Prevnar by Pfizer is doing $6B annum and PCV21 is doing $700m in first year. 35-valent vax from Pfizer will only enter clinical dev end of 2026, far behind VAX-31.
$PCVX key data soon. Mizuhu calls this a "must own" read out and I agree. I like the fact that this is not a twitter darling. "We go through the details below why approvability (not serotypes missed) is the correct fundamental lens here, while also stress testing serotype-specific data. The key conclusion is VAX-31 likely puts up positive data here and gets approved as the broadest coverage PCV. Precedent has shown coverage is king and the number one driver of (majority) uptake in this $8Bn+ (and growing) market. On positive data, we believe the stock can potentially land in the ~$80-100 territory (certainly ways to get it higher as well)".

2 years ago, I chanced upon some articles by @iancassel on the microcap club website. Suffice to say it has inspired me to start biotech investing seriously and gave me that much needed push to take risks.
For those who are still on the sidelines, perhaps this book could give you the push that you need.
Largely been spared from whatever bio smid degrossing event recently thanks to large cash position.
Several smids with commercial momentum has pulled back, stalking $AXSM and $COGT. Some names are down 20-30% and seen a lot of doomposting recently but personally this is healthy pullback. I would even argue valuations of some smids were stretched prior to this.

the feeling of being convinced that blessings are coming your way is inexplicable, and that delusional optimism fills you with overwhelming peace, joy, and excitement
the secret is that that feeling is a choice
you can decide at any moment to take the steering wheel and drive
Singapore, we’re on our way 🇸🇬 Our vehicles will arrive later this year, and will begin mapping and learning Singapore’s roads in early 2027 before fully autonomous ride-hailing arrives in 2028.

One of the greatest viruses of the modern man is looking at Instagram Stories. You will melt your brain looking at a barrage of outcomes—like vacations, parties, cars—with no visibility of the process that got them there.
