drinking is pretty awesome i can’t lie but nothing else can give me the dopamine that i get from randomly watching 2025 pacers playoff highlights once a month at 2am
@llenSmith@DEREKSTlNGLEY@the2kmessiah 100% agree but i think we’re at worst the 2nd favorite in the east next season. it’s gonna be a fun year, go ‘cers!
@llenSmith@DEREKSTlNGLEY@the2kmessiah oh i agree, i’m saying it’s likely none of those top guys we could’ve drafted would’ve made a winning impact during our current title window
@llenSmith@DEREKSTlNGLEY@the2kmessiah that second part is super important tho…. carlisle is soooo stingy with rookie minutes, i could very easily see a guy like peterson or dybantsa getting pulled out of games by him
Non-tinfoil tweet:
I’d trade Mathurin & 5 100 times out of 100 for Zubac. The team is better today than it was when it walked on the floor for Game 7 in OKC.
They don’t need a free agent. They don’t need luck. They should be the East’s betting favorite for 2026-27 this minute.
Bottom line for Indiana from Zu’s biggest fan:
Zubac was an all-nba level player in 24-25, his team completely fell apart the next year + he played through ankle ligament damage he suffered in December. There’s very little to take away from this season.
Not a single big in the league can match versatility as both a post creator & play finisher at a legit all-defense level, while also being arguably the best rebounder & screener in the league.
Gonna be winning a lot of games in the next 3-5 years.
This time a year ago the Pacers didn't have a first rounder in this draft. Now, the Pacers don't have a first rounder in this draft but, oh wait, they got their elite offensive engine an upgrade to his starting center. How awful!
I'm really sorry to all our fans. I own taking this risk. Surprised it came up 5th after this year. I thought we were due some luck. But please remember - this team deserved a starting center to compete with the best teams next year. We have always been resilient.
Do you guys remember when they said never let Indiana in the playoff again and then we went 16-0 and won the Big 10 and won the Heisman trophy and won the Rose Bowl and won the Peach Bowl and won the national championship
Sources: Colts and Kenny Moore II mutually have agreed to seek a trade and a new home for the veteran cornerback. Moore is entering the last year of his contract, and both sides feel it is time to explore a trade.
Vikings are now open to trading Pro Bowl edge rusher Jonathan Geeenard, per sources.
They would like to keep Greenard, but they also have salary cap issues they’re working through that have led to these trade conversations.
