Something needs to change in the justice system. We’re seeing too many teenagers accused of serious violent crimes. Parents should be held fully accountable for what their kids do.
There’s still a stigma around addiction. Families want to keep it quiet because they don’t want their loved one exposed or embarrassed. But at some point, you have to choose between protecting appearances and facing reality. You can’t save your ass and your face at the same time.

According to @jstewartIndy, Indianapolis cops were outside the parking garage when Brett Scrogham was shot. He reports that a witness is frustrated because IMPD didn’t take a formal statement from him, even though he said he saw someone running from the area after the gunfire.
