@VictoriqueM well I am a bit out of ideas on marketing since I know how to code not to attract ppl much and yeahh i wouldnt like an ai reply myself but I dont know at this point π€·ββοΈ
@asaio87 with 12 months of support, the day to worry about is when the client adds more cars. tablets all boot and sync at shift change, so the backend gets bursts, not averages. load test the ad and tip endpoints before that happens, stresix does it without writing scripts
@Voxyz_ai good list. a 15th one for the same loop: traffic. give the agent the stresix mcp server, have it ramp a few hundred users at login and checkout on a staging copy, read the report and fix whatever ran out first. setup is at https://t.co/wJAXYlvwyG
@OjasSharma276 the error rate often isn't even constant. at 100 users a slow query is fine, at 10k it holds db connections, the pool fills up and everything starts failing at once. worth finding that number on a copy before your users do, stresix runs that test without you writing a script
@omkarships a middle ground: make prod break on your schedule. load test a copy before real users show up, then read the failure yourself before asking the AI for a fix. stresix does the load part, and the report tells you what ran out first so you know where to start reading
@AKirtesh a silent crash like that is usually an unhandled promise rejection. log unhandledRejection, add a restart policy, and save uploads under a generated id, not the user's filename. next surprise is the same crash at 50 users at once, stresix finds that one before launch
@mardehaym one more for the list: > a load test, so you find the slow query before your first 500 users do. vibe coded apps usually fall over on one unindexed query or one pinned cpu core. stresix runs that on a copy of the app and tells you which one ran out
@RoundtableSpace good list, but it all checks one request at a time. none of it tells you what happens with 500 people on the site at once. a fifth subagent can cover that: add the stresix mcp and it builds the repo on a fresh server, ramps users at it and comes back with what ran out first
@MansiCodez from real runs it's often not the db first. we pushed umami to 2,500 users and one node process sat at 100% on a single core while the box was half idle and the db used 0.7 cores. single threaded runtimes hit that wall early. stresix tells you which one ran out on your own app
@10xrecruit22602 usually the handler does the work inline, so the sender retries while it's slow and it snowballs. reply 200 first, queue the event id, skip ids you've seen. then fire a burst of POSTs at a copy of the app with stresix and watch the db before a real retry storm does it for you
@samjulien agent traffic has no think time: same few endpoints in a tight loop, lots at once. per key rate limits and a hard cap on db connections do more than a bigger box. stresix can throw that kind of burst at a copy of your api so you find the limit before the agents do
@ChineduCode depends way more on what each request does than on the price
same ~$10 4 vcpu box: payload cms held ~490 req/s, uncached wordpress ~78. and the node apps only used 1 of the 4 cores
for your app's real number, https://t.co/30c6J0a8Oh does a free run
self hosting next.js on a vps? next start is one node process, so it fills one core and stops there.
we load tested umami and payload (both next.js) on a 4 vcpu box: one thread at 100%, server 36 to 40% busy, postgres idle. a bigger box wouldnt help, more instances would
@KevinNaughtonJr from the screenshot that looks like memory, not cpu. swap is 100% full and kswapd0 is the top process, so both cores are mostly busy swapping. more ram (or finding what holds the 7.5 gb) fixes it, more cores alone won't. stresix shows which one runs out first per service
5 cms, same $10 server, 2,500 users, default configs, all hitting the list posts api
payload 490 req/s
strapi 290
directus 220
ghost 115
wordpress 78
4 of 5 maxed one cpu core and left ~60% of the box idle. wordpress used all 4 and still came last
https://t.co/6IGaYy67Rf
caveats: directus 503s come from its own pressure limiter, and ghost started sending 429s because all the load comes from one ip. nothing tuned, no caching.
compose files are public. if you think a setup is unfair, open an issue and i'll rerun it
