Africa’s cloud market is worth billions of dollars, but most of that money leaves the continent. Jean-Luc Sauvé, the co-founder and CEO of Rwanda’s homegrown cloud computing platform, Strettch Cloud, says he wants to change that.
The 22-year-old tech enthusiast, in an exclusive interview with IGIHE, said the company’s ambition is to keep value, data, and opportunity in Rwanda and to scale that vision across Africa.
“The money should not go outside Rwanda or Africa. It should stay here, strengthen our systems, and give us control over our data.”
