The DIY Girls Self-Breast Exam Kit is officially an award-winning way to feel yourself—literally. Thx @DHealthAwards Because if you’re going to win at breast health awareness, why not do it with humor, health, and a side of boob puns? Thank you for loving black boobs as much as I do. 😂💪🏾 #AwardWinningTatas
I have to admit—I’m still numb by the election results. There’s a powerful article from @mayaaking and @EricaLG in @nytimes from a Black woman’s perspective on the election, and it deeply resonates.
Every day of my life, I awaken feeling like I have to prove my worth, my humanity, and my dignity, just like so many Black women who shoulder this reality quietly. It’s an experience that often goes unsaid, unseen, unheard. This loss is a sharp reminder of all of it—forcing so much into focus.
As someone focused on creating institutions that make a better world through the power of laughter—I’m a Black woman who is working to build something from the ground up. I often wonder where I’d be if I weren’t up against these invisible barriers, or if basic respect and courtesy weren’t so hard-won. But I will keep moving forward, and I hope this moment becomes an opportunity for others to reflect, too: on how they support local causes, how many Black women they work with, and what small actions they can take to create change in their own worlds.
To those who stand with us—thank you. This fight requires more. It’s time to dig deeper, push harder, and make a real difference. We can, and we must, keep pushing forward together.
And if all else fails—hug me. I have liberal tears, I’m Black, and yes, I’m single.
It’s my Project 2025 agenda— only laughter loyalists need apply.

I appreciate the re-tweet @HollywdHealth! Thx from #StrongBlackBoobs for being my #StrongWhiteSupportBra! 😂 The most painful part of my journey has been the feeling of irrelevance around Black cancer—that the issue is neither being recognized nor prioritized. The breast cancer experience for Black women is different, and the disparities show it. So every time our stories are heard, it gives WOC a shot at a better life & healthy boobs! Thx for making me and the issue "seen."
#NoLazyBoobs! My new boobs have been busy this summer curating comedy shows for @lincolncenter and it's been a long-held dream of mine to bring an Australian comedy showcase to life. NYLaughs was born out of the kindness of a person I met online while searching for help. That person, #AndrewBencina @winterhillmusic turned out to be from Melbourne and became a true friend. His generosity and selflessness, despite the distance, have left a lasting impact and have shown me how small the world can be when we connect through art and kindness. Thankful to @roywoodjr for adding a non-Australian voice to the mix as a host. My thanks also extends to Honorable Councilmember @galebrewer and the featured Australian comedians that brought this ambitious vision to life @NYLaughs @blakeyboyboolin, @thecassieworkman, and @Chennylifestyle, as well. #blackbreastfriend #blackboobmagic #breastcancerdisruptor #breastcancerbadass

Colon cancer is sneaky—like a landlord raising the rent when you're not looking!
It affects people of color more than others, and many of us don’t even know we have it until it’s too late. But here’s the good news: knowledge is power, and a good laugh never hurts either!
Join these free webinars to get the lowdown on colon cancer. No, they won’t ask you to share your bathroom habits, but you will get to hear from some top-notch oncologists who know their way around a colon (in a totally professional way, of course).Save your seat and learn how to keep your colon—and your sense of humor—in top shape: https://t.co/bT3xmwQBEj
