Good evening everyone! I hope and trust you all have had a good day. It feel like full on summer today, we will see that once again on Friday.

Let's get right down to business. Invest 94L or "Soon to be Imelda" has trended westward all day with model runs. This is due to a few things. Humberto is slowing down, that will likely mean, there is no interaction between Humberto and Invest 94L .

As you can see below, the super ensemble (which is over 100 different model runs) showing that the South Carolina coast could be impacted by this system.

The particulars will likely come down to how strong high pressure is out over the Atlantic... The stronger, the more Invest 94L moves closer to the coast. ALSO.. there will be an upper level low, somewhere over the Southeast. That could pull Invest 94L inland. As you can tell it is a complicated forecast.

Timing of any impacts will be felt starting late Sunday night through Tuesday.. We will be able to narrow this down, over the next few days. That means starting Friday it would be a good idea to make sure you know your hurricane plans, and see if you need to restock any supplies.

Impacts will come in time, but the threat of heavy rain is likely.. We will also see how the tornado, surge, and wind threat will evolve.

REMEMBER, as of right now, this storm has NOT formed yet.. but it needs to be watched carefully. We are not sure if could develop into a low end hurricane, or higher end tropical storm. That is to be determined.

So stick with us throughout the next few days, and we will keep you updated.
