🚨🎙️ Gerard Piqué on Bruno Fernandes winning the Premier League Player of the Season Award
“Everyone was expecting Declan Rice to walk away with the award. He anchored Arsenal to the Premier League title, bossed the midfield, and looked like the complete package — fair play to him, he had a serious season.
But Bruno Fernandes winning it? That doesn’t surprise me one bit, and honestly, it shouldn’t surprise anyone who actually watches football properly. The way Bruno dragged Manchester United week after week with his goals, his assists, that incredible vision and creativity, plus the leadership and fight he showed when things got tough… that’s real elite quality right there. People love to chase the team that wins the league, but individual brilliance like Bruno’s stands out no matter what. Titles are one thing, but this kind of impact? That’s what wins awards. Bruno fully deserves it — simple as that.” —

When Harry Redknapp was at Tottenham Hotspur, the lads once tried to sneak a Cheltenham Festival trip without him finding out.
Big game against Manchester United that week.
Harry made it crystal clear: no Cheltenham. If anyone went, they were “done”.
Problem was… Jonathan Woodgate had already organised it.
A helicopter.
A private box.
Framed as “team bonding” — not a day on the sauce.
So the lads tried to be clever.
They offered Harry a free ride to prove it was “innocent”.
That’s when it flipped.
Because once he heard there was a helicopter involved, Jamie O'Hara says Harry’s stance softened very quickly.
Next thing you know, the manager who banned it… is at Cheltenham anyway.
In the box.
With the players.
Like it was his idea all along.
Honestly though West Ham have been inflicting pain on Manchester United for a very long time. Still not over that Paolo Di Canio goal that knocked United out of the cup. Still remember the hurt of that one.
