Things to change your life, this is a tweet that I decided to write with everything trading focused & otherwise which had a profound impact and has allowed success. In order of maximum importance 1. Mushrooms 2.Meditation 3.Buddhism & Taoist methods 4.NLP 5. Macro 6. Statistics..
Trading has a 95+ failure rate just like Sound Engineering. I did well this year then the retirement trade crept in trying to be #1 it's a thing that can lead to a downfall, But I know now statistically where I can be which means an immense amount to me (POC) - peaked at 27.
@AntonKreil Hi Anton - if it was recorded could you send me a replay I was juggling the bubs so missed my paid attendance. Thanks and look forward to speaking with you regarding mentorship programs soon
@christinaqi https://t.co/6Rf3ggXkWt the kid did well I put him touch with a better guitarist - it's rare when you find musical people who also trade & are easy on the eyes - yes is a yes \ near zero probability.
@christinaqi I once sold a $5000 dollar guitar to a kid who couldn't play I think this qualifies me for your sales position. Think about my response after reading my bio you'll find it 1. Hilarious 2. Apt - I also love what your doing at Databento and am wishing you the utmost success in 26.
For me the trading Everest is Fundseeder I'm here at the summit, looking up at those frosty peaks within reach and with a sense of awe, since prior I'd only seen them on postcards or read about them in novels.
had a rough 2022-3 was working tooo much with alot of pressure at home and that bled into the trading account, in 2025 I got selected to do Beta testing on Fundseeder everyone loves a comeback montage https://t.co/mzlhyfWW0d
@Treza0125@Silverpuppy69@timboo Agreed - take the value of money lost to inflation off her an demonstrate modern economics by missdirecting the funds to pay for your golf club membership. Do this every year until she understands.
Nah bad take.
Euro volatility rose since they announced they would diverge from the Fed. Rising volatility = rising dollar and this sent all the carry/beta trades down (mxnjpy, Bitcoin, stocks, etc). Gold and oil were the strongest momentum trades & had some war premium / shorts getting railed but then once volatility crossed a certain threshold it then took these momentum trades down as well. Notice on the chart below how this was a classic carry unwind as collateral hit & leverage reduced.
Gold going down had zero to do with it telling you anything buddy. It was up 25% in two months and got smoked on a carry unwind as it was clearly a crowded trade in the short term.
Policy divergence is the bigger story Than the war, but everyone wants to focus on the war. If nothing happens I would agree there is a rally Monday but I would fade that rally.
Mechanics > Narrative is the key takeaway here chief
From an amazing Michael Crichton talk:
“Media carries with it a credibility that is totally undeserved. You have all experienced this, in what I call the Murray Gell-Mann Amnesia effect. (I refer to it by this name because I once
discussed it with Murray Gell-Mann, and by dropping a famous name I imply greater importance to myself, and to the effect, than it would otherwise have.)
Briefly stated, the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect is as follows. You open the newspaper to an article
on some subject you know well. In Murray's case, physics. In mine, show business. You read the
article and see the journalist has absolutely no understanding of either the facts or the issues.
Often, the article is so wrong it actually presents the story backward—reversing cause and effect. I call these the "wet streets cause rain" stories. Paper's full of them.
In any case, you read with exasperation or amusement the multiple errors in a story, and then turn the page to national or international affairs, and read as if the rest of the newspaper was somehow more accurate about Palestine than the baloney you just read. You turn the page,
and forget what you know.
That is the Gell-Mann Amnesia effect. I'd point out it does not operate in other arenas of life. In ordinary life, if somebody consistently exaggerates or lies to you, you soon discount everything
they say. In court, there is the legal doctrine of falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus, which means untruthful in one part, untruthful in all. But when it comes to the media, we believe against
evidence that it is probably worth our time to read other parts of the paper.”
@raywatts@liz_churchill10 Its a case of she wanted to be in the elite club of 300. Microchip "asset" every human on the planet was the project, then something about trying to shorten their life spans considerably / make them infertile Then - new/old communism WEF to reprogram the masses to accept less
I've given up fighting the bots @elonmusk a man can only do so much, for the love of god use Grok to fix this issue should only take 30 seconds or just offer bot free in basic X model at 4 dollars instead of $8, double - 4X your customers overnight.
