@SeekMastery Excellent advice. Reminds me of the old Turkish proverb "no matter how far down the wrong road you've gone, turn back."
It takes the awareness to know you're in the wrong place, and the resolve to make the necessary changes.
@Positive_Call They're all decisions, including the original mistake and the mistake once repeated. The more often the mistake is made, the more likely you can conclude that it's a decision to do something that's known to be a mistake.
@EssentialMastry That's deep. People develop social masks when they sense that the environment is hostile to them. At the base of everything, life is about survival. Better to use your intuition to shift to an environment where a mask is not needed.
@Life__Mastery Such good advice. If you become the average of the few people you spend most time with, the risk of becoming disrespectful to yourself or others is just too great.
@ElizaWallace27 I've read about various rule of thumb methods, generally involving timed running, but their accuracy is probably not that good. Medical measurement would be much more accurate.
The one that really resonates is "I am very aware how easily I could lose all of this" @brownecfm
