In a nation like this, you want the most popular Igbo politician to sanction a protest against a deeply bigoted government, forgetting that thousands of Igbos who'll stay at home will be targeted.

Pray to get documents needed for visa application. Pray and fast to hand over the heart of the consular into the hand of God. Pray and fast on the day of the visa interview. Pray all this prayer just to get a visa to travel to countries where they don't pray for their leaders.

Leave a country where they pray for their leaders to a country where they don't pray for their leaders. Make it make sense, please?

These empty heads in government have been so pampered to the extent that they will go into religious organizations, and after blabbing, tell the congregation to keep praying for them.

Politicians padded a budget, and religious leaders are still asking the citizens to pray for the budget to be successful. They won't even use the budget for the benefit of the citizens in the first place, but those who will suffer for it should still pray again for the "success" of it.

I lost my dad and younger sister within 2 years because of the terrible system. I was born a Christian, and my dad prayed for the "leaders" until the same leaders killed him with poor governance. Same as my younger sister. Those who have the courage to pray for them should continue praying for them.
