@BarbaraNairn @briteeth She is the only girl in her class, not school, with a foreign parent. I am a Berliner. I intend to move back there next year. I am tired of feeling unwelcome in my chosen home.

@Manwithadog1 @Subiedoo77 I don't find it hard to believe. I've heard UK white people casually speak out against foreigners often. My French friend who works in NHS was told - while working, by a patient - "we don't like foreigners here".

@lynnesandgate @CarrotteG The fighter in me wants to tell the school, the mother in me wants to protect my 7 yr old. My daughter would feel the backlash of it. School will deal with it, I'm already an outsider, my daughter will suffer more. I'm planning on leaving next year. I want to keep her safe....

@Hibou2 @KingInTheNCP Yes, it is true. My daughter told me about it and asked me what it meant. She asked me what's wrong with her. She didn't make the connection, she's only 7. I had to make a lot of stuff up to ease her mind.... It broke my heart.

@ArielWelby Oh. I know. The majority of people in the UK are amazing and very supportive. It's a minority but they are the loudest and most aggressive. I fight and stand my ground, for mine and all the other children living here. I want a better future for them and all of us! But it hurts...

@MrsTrellis @JoeMcFLove525 Thank you. I live South Humberside. 70% of people voted leave here. I hate to say it, but I'm used to racist remarks now. I can deal with it even though it hurts like hell not being welcome in a place I considered to be my home. My dd is only 7! It breaks my heart!

@timjmarshall I agree. It's so much easier to blame the EU. Most people don't bother looking up facts and believe Murdoch propaganda instead. Austerity is the problem but they would never admit it.

@timjmarshall I've been living in England for 14 years now. It's like brexit made xenophobia and racism acceptable. It breaks my heart, people turning into what their ancestors fought in WW2. Maybe they are just a minority, but they are the loudest!

When you are stuck in a country that doesn't want you while your mum only has 6 month left to live back home. I fucking hate #Brexit ! I never thought I'd regret moving to the UK. Looking for a way out. Want to move back home, cause that's not here anymore #FBPE
