Don't mind me, just over here totally relieved and grateful I had a call with @subscriptiondoc to unwind the rat's nest my brain had become over a subscription box.
Soooo much more clarity, and an easy go-forward plan. The man is amazing.
Best events I’ve attended in 2026:
@CommerceRound - North Star for DTC energy in one room. Love me some @yojimmykim & @iamshackelford on the 1’s and 2’s.
Commerce Catalyst - SLC is a movement. @subscriptiondoc has that community on lock and does an unbelievable job curating workshops as well as bigger events throughout the year.
@dtcgrowthsummit - Very intimate group of killers. @johnhickey1970 is a grade-A guy. Does an outstanding job limiting the SaaS-fest and getting hungry operators + top agencies together in one room.
@Sub_Summit - First time attending this year. Was a solid experience overall. All the leading CPG and subscription focused brands under one roof. Not mention, anytime John Roman has the waitress make a special martini for me… how could the show not be memorable!
I’m on the road quite often , so apologies if I’ve missed some gems 💎.

Most subscription brands don't know which product combos have the highest LTV. They're sitting on that data right now.
Export your subscription orders. Drop them into an LLM. Ask which combos outperform individual products on retention. Then build your BFCM offer around those, not a flat sitewide discount.
Kids are gone so showed my wife the cool shit I built with AI today thinking she'd be all impressed with how smart and clever I am but instead she's building an agent to research vacation plans.
Did something pretty cool today.
While answering emails and follow-ups and hopping on a couple of calls, I also used AI to build a new sales database for my event business (Commerce Catalyst) and created 2 different agents to help manage leads and follow-ups.
Saving me HOURS and HOURs of work. All in the background, periodically checking in and prompting further.
😤
I have tried building a sales CRM and auto-outreach tool for my events business Commerce Catalyst for the past few months with AI.
Been pretty MEH and requiring a ton of work updating context, rules, categorizing... so much so I just keep restarting it over and trying it again with new tools or inferences.
(Hard part is all the places I've had these contacts in the past and pulling them together.)
Then in one morning with @hq_fyi it's not only done it is GORGEOUS. Holy shit this is amazing.
Can't wait to update you all at the end of this week!
@getindigo had the smoothest onboarding today:
1. Call with @coreyepstein to install and walk it through
2. Create company structure and workflow
3. Connect APIs to all my tools/apps in the business
4. Reorganize Google Workspace and Desktop for better file structure
All within 1.5-2 hours total. Kinda nuts what this is doing already. Brainstorm and planning our first build out.
@jacob_posel why you been holding out on me?
