School is basically outsourced childcare

Any system at such a scale is self-serving and does the least it can. like govt or companies!

When top pedigree graduates due half assed jobs at work, so do many teachers..!

Instead of sneaking out, I let my team know where I’m going / why.

If you want to create a culture of flexibility, you have to remove the stigma of guilt.

1) more likely to work longer hours in India (hard driving work culture + chaos)
2) wouldn't ever 'walk' home in india after work. Uber/own driver for most.
3) def. more vigilant/thoughtful about safety here
