The Hon’ble Finance Minister of our country - Our Teacher on Teacher’s Day!

For years, you have stood before us and taught us (given gyan) about Equality, Justice and Fairness.

We listened.
We learned.
We delivered.

We, the banking community, became the students who worked through every crisis, every scheme, every target and every deadline—keeping the nation’s financial wheels turning.

But today, on Teacher’s Day, the classroom has changed.

The students have a few questions for you dear teacher.

📚 If five-day work is good enough for so many institutions, WHY NOT BANKING?

⚖️ If equality is a fundamental lesson, why should PLI carry the burden of DISCRIMINATION?

🏆 If performance matters, why should the reward depend on where the student sits rather than what the student delivers?

Teacher, you gave us the syllabus. We learned every lesson. Now, please answer your own question paper.

Because the greatest lesson of leadership is not what you teach your students.. but what you are willing to practice yourself.

A parliamentary question to the policy makers: If a bank performs above 80%, why must 20% of its officers receive zero #PLI ? And if employees accepted longer daily hours, why must all Saturdays remain pending? This is not reform; it is administrative arithmetic without human fairness. Government must stop forced ranking and honour.

They call it “Performance Linked Incentive.” We call it “POSITION Linked Incentive.”

Scale I–III: demonetisation at midnight, Jan Dhan in villages, Mudra, KCC, APY, PMJJBY, one customer, one form, one target at a time. And the reward? 15 days’ pay.

Meanwhile, Scale IV & above can get up to 360 days’ basic pay.

360 vs 15.

If this is “performance,” perhaps the real qualification is simply POSITION.

Same bank. Same targets. Same storm.
But apparently, only some are rowing.

The powerful voice of BOIOA AP&TS Unit @BOIOA2010 echoed throughout Andhra and Telangana through the demonstration, giving forceful expression to the collective concerns, aspirations and legitimate demands of the officer fraternity.
