منح جائزة تشاتام هاوس @ChathamHouse لعام 2025 في يوم الخميس 26 مارس 2026 إلى غرف الاستجابة للطوارئ في #السودان، وممثل الغرف يقول خلال الاحتفال:

📌 هذا التكريم لا نتلقاه كأفراد، ولا كمنظمة بالمعنى التقليدي، بل كتعبير جماعي عن أكثر من 26 ألف متطوع سوداني رفضوا أن يكونوا ضحايا، أو يختفوا في مواجهة الحرب.

📌 لم تولد غرف الاستجابة للطوارئ في قاعات المؤتمرات، أو في مذكرات السياسة العامة، بل في الأحياء التي تتعرض للقصف، وفي المنازل التي تحوّلت إلى عيادات صحية.

📌 نحن نمثل المجتمعات السودانية التي تستجيب للأزمات بكرامة، ومرونة وسرعة وإيمان راسخ بأن الحياة يجب أن تستمر حتى في أحلك الأوقات.

📌 هذه الجائزة تعود أولاً إلى المتطوعين، للنساء والرجال الذين نسّقوا المساعدات تحت النيران، للأطباء والممرضات الذين عملوا دون رواتب أو أمان.

The Chatham House Award for 2025 was presented on Thursday, March 26, 2026, to the Emergency Response Rooms in #Sudan. A representative of the group said during the ceremony:

📌 This recognition is not received as individuals, nor as an organization in the traditional sense, but as a collective expression of more than 26,000 Sudanese volunteers who refused to be victims or to disappear in the face of war.

📌 The Emergency Response Rooms were not born in conference halls or public policy papers, but in neighborhoods under bombardment and in homes that were turned into healthcare clinics.

📌 We represent Sudanese communities that respond to crises with dignity, resilience, speed, and a firm belief that life must continue even in the darkest times.

📌 This award belongs first and foremost to the volunteers—to the women and men who coordinated aid under fire, and to the doctors and nurses who worked without pay or security.

Let's be very clear: when you choose to live in a country, you are expected to respect its laws and its institutions - without exceptions. Qatar, like every Gulf nation, has given residents safety, stability, and opportunities that many people elsewhere can only wish for. Responding to that generosity with public hostility or attempts to distort the situation is unacceptable. The law applies to everyone equally, and refusing to follow it is a choice that carries consequences. Turning this into a campaign against the country won't change the facts, and it only exposes your own double standards.
