A major step towards mitigating human–elephant conflict in Parvathipuram Manyam District. 🐘

Under the directions of Hon'ble Deputy Chief Minister & Minister for Forests, Shri @PawanKalyan Garu, two highly trained Kumki elephants, Jayanth and Abhimanyu, are being deployed from the Palamaner Elephant Camp to the Guchchimi Camp in Parvathipuram Manyam District.

The deployment will strengthen rapid response efforts to manage wild elephant movement, alongside AI-based monitoring, drone surveillance, Hanuman Rapid Response Teams, solar fencing, and other mitigation measures to ensure the safety of both people and wildlife.

దాదాపు నెలరోజుల పాటు నిరంతర నిఘా, డ్రోన్ సర్వైలెన్స్, శాస్త్రీయ ప్రణాళికతో పలమనేరు పరిసరాల్లో మానవ-ఏనుగు ఘర్షణకు కారణమైన అడవి మగ ఏనుగును ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అటవీ శాఖ విజయవంతంగా బంధించింది.

5 కుంకీ ఏనుగులు, వెటర్నరీ వైద్యులు, మహూతులు, ట్రాకర్లు, అటవీ సిబ్బంది సమిష్టి కృషి, అంకితభావంతో ఈ క్లిష్టమైన ఆపరేషన్‌ను సురక్షితంగా పూర్తి చేశారు. గతంలో ఇదే ఏనుగు దాడిలో గాయపడిన అటవీ సెక్షన్ అధికారి శ్రీ సుకుమార్ గారు తిరిగి విధుల్లో పాల్గొని చూపిన ధైర్యం ప్రత్యేక అభినందనీయం.

ఈ విజయవంతమైన ఆపరేషన్‌లో పాల్గొన్న అధికారులను, సిబ్బందిని గౌరవ ఉప ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ @PawanKalyan గారు అభినందిస్తూ, వైద్య పరీక్షలు, ప్రవర్తన పరిశీలన అనంతరం ఈ ఏనుగును కుమ్కీగా తీర్చిదిద్దే అవకాశాలను పరిశీలించాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.

సాంకేతికత, సమన్వయం, ధైర్యం కలిసొస్తే వన్యప్రాణుల సంరక్షణతో పాటు ప్రజల భద్రతను సమర్థవంతంగా కాపాడవచ్చని ఈ ఆపరేషన్ నిరూపించింది.

I was lucky to see the semi finals live yesterday by staying awake till 230 am . Argentina had almost lost to Egypt and were 0-2 down before scoring three goals in the last 13 minutes of play to win 3-2 . Yesterday they were down 0-1 before they score 2 goals in the last 7 minutes to win 2-1 with the two assists from Messi. England made the mistake of not continuing to mark him, man to man , in the end and paid a huge price !

This is a proud and significant moment for the Central Academy for State Forest Service, Coimbatore.

The National Standards for Civil Service Training Institutions developed by the Capacity Building Commission to assess and strengthen the quality and capacity of Civil Service Training institutions in the country evaluated the institution across 8 key pillars and 43 metrics covering the entire training ecosystem—from training needs assessment and course design to faculty development, resource planning, digital learning, knowledge creation, evaluation, continuous improvement, data systems and institutional governance.

Based on this comprehensive evaluation, the NSCSTI framework of the Capacity Building Commission, Government of India has accredited CASFOS, Coimbatore, 4-Star Accreditation and has been categorized as Ati Utkrisht/Excellent, placing it among the very few Civil Service Training Institutions currently accredited at the 4-Star level in the country.
The two days spent on the campus have been remarkable and memorable for me, along with being a great learning experience.

ఈ మధ్య ఎవరిని చూసినా దుబాయి గోల్డెన్ వీసా గురించి, అక్కడ బుర్జ్ ఖలీఫా లోనో లేక పామ్ జుమేరా లో వారికున్న అపార్ట్మెంట్ గురించి మాట్లాడడం వింటున్నా. చాలా మంది సంపన్నులు ఇండియా లో పన్నుల వలయం నుండి తప్పించుకోవడానికి దుబాయ్‌ వెళ్లారు కానీ ఇప్పుడు అక్కడ బాంబుల వలయంలో చిక్కుకున్నారు. పొరుగు దేశం లో బిర్యానీ తినేకంటే, సొంత దేశంలో పప్పన్నం తిని బతకడం ఉత్తమం🙏.

ఢిల్లీలో ఒక మల్టీనేషనల్ కంపెనీలో మేనేజర్‌గా పనిచేస్తూ, లక్షల్లో జీతం తీసుకునే ఒక యువకుడు తన కుటుంబంతో కలిసి వారం రోజుల విహారయాత్ర కోసం లడఖ్ వెళ్లాడు. అక్కడ వారికి కేటాయించిన డ్రైవర్ సుమారు 28 ఏళ్ల యువకుడు. అతనికి వృద్ధాప్యంలో ఉన్న తల్లిదండ్రులు, భార్య, ఇద్దరు కుమార్తెలు ఉన్నారు.

ప్రయాణంలో వారి మధ్య ఈ విధంగా సంభాషణ జరిగింది:

పర్యాటకుడు: “ఈ వీకెండ్‌తో టూరిస్ట్ సీజన్ అయిపోతుంది కదా.. ఆ తర్వాత నువ్వు ఏం చేస్తావు? గోవా, ఢిల్లీ లాంటి పెద్ద నగరాల్లో హోటల్స్ లో పనికి వెళ్తావా?”
డ్రైవర్ (యువకుడు): “లేదు సార్, నేను ఇక్కడే ఉంటాను. లడఖ్ వదిలి నేను ఎక్కడికీ వెళ్లను.”

పర్యాటకుడు: “కానీ ఇక్కడ శీతాకాలం చాలా భయంకరంగా ఉంటుంది కదా.. అప్పుడు నువ్వు ఏం చేస్తావు?”

యువకుడు: “పెద్దగా ఏమీ లేదు సార్.. నేను సియాచిన్ వెళ్తాను.”
నేను సియాచిన్ వెళ్తాను.”

పర్యాటకుడు (ఆశ్చర్యంగా): “సియాచినా? అది ఇక్కడి కంటే ఎంతో చలిగా ఉంటుంది కదా!”

యువకుడు: “అవును సార్, నేను అక్కడ భారత సైన్యానికి ‘లోడర్’ (బరువులు మోసేవాడు)గా వెళ్తాను. ఇది కాంట్రాక్ట్ ఉద్యోగం. నా లాంటి కొంతమంది ఇక్కడి నుండి సియాచిన్ బేస్ క్యాంప్ వరకు సుమారు 250 కిలోమీటర్లు నడిచి వెళ్తాము. దానికి 15 రోజులు పడుతుంది. అక్కడ మెడికల్ టెస్టులు చేస్తారు, పాస్ అయితే యూనిఫామ్, బూట్లు, హెల్మెట్ ఇస్తారు. అలా అక్కడ 3 నుండి 4 నెలలు ఉండి పని చేస్తాం.”
పర్యాటకుడు: “అక్కడ మీరు చేసే పని ఏమిటి?”

యువకుడు: “మేము సామాగ్రిని మోస్తాం. సైన్యం హెలికాప్టర్ల ద్వారా ఆహారం, ఇతర వస్తువులను జారవిడుస్తుంది. ఆ వస్తువులను మేము వీపున వేసుకుని ఒక పోస్ట్ నుండి మరొక పోస్ట్‌కు చేరవేస్తాం. అదంతా మంచు పలకల (Glaciers) ప్రాంతం. ట్రక్కులు వెళ్లలేవు. స్నో స్కూటర్లు శబ్దం చేస్తాయి, అది శత్రువులకు తెలిసిపోయే ప్రమాదం ఉంది. అందుకే మేము తెల్లవారుజామున 2 గంటలకు బయలుదేరుతాం. టార్చ్ లైట్లు కూడా వాడకూడదు. నిశ్శబ్దంగా, చీకటిలో నడవాలి. అక్కడ గుర్రాలు, గాడిదలు కూడా బ్రతకలేవు. -50°C చలిలో, 18,000 అడుగుల ఎత్తులో ఏ జంతువు ప్రాణాలతో ఉండలేదు.”

పర్యాటకుడు: “అక్కడ ఆక్సిజన్ కూడా తక్కువగా ఉంటుంది కదా.. అంత బరువు ఎలా మోస్తారు
యువకుడు: “అందుకే 15 కేజీల కంటే ఎక్కువ బరువు ఇవ్వరు. మేము రోజుకు కేవలం రెండు గంటలు మాత్రమే పని చేస్తాము. మిగిలిన సమయం అంతా శరీరాన్ని ప్రాణాలతో ఉంచుకోవడానికే సరిపోతుంది.”

పర్యాటకుడు: “ఇది ప్రాణాలతో చెలగాటం కదా..”

ఆ యువకుడు కాసేపు మౌనంగా ఉండి ఇలా అన్నాడు: “నా స్నేహితులు చాలా మంది తిరిగి రాలేదు. కొందరు మంచు లోయల్లో పడిపోయారు, మరికొందరు శత్రువుల కాల్పుల్లో చనిపోయారు. అన్నిటికంటే పెద్ద ప్రమాదం ‘ఫ్రాస్ట్ బైట్’ (అత్యధిక చలి వల్ల శరీర భాగాలు కుళ్ళిపోవడం). నిజం చెప్పాలంటే అక్కడ మరణం అనివార్యం అనిపిస్తుంది.”

పర్యాటకుడు: “అయితే మీకు జీతం చాలా బాగా ఇస్తారేమో?”

యువకుడు: “నెలకు ₹18,000. సైన్యం మా ఖర్చులన్నీ చూసుకుంటుంది. మూడు నెలల్లో నేను 50 వేల వరకు దాచుకోవచ్చు. నా కుటుంబం గడవడానికి అది చాలు. అన్నింటికంటే మించి.. మన దేశం కోసం, మన సైన్యం కోసం ఏదో చేశామన్న తృప్తి మిగులుతుంది.”
ఆ మాట వినగానే ఢిల్లీ నుండి వచ్చిన పర్యాటకుడు నిశ్శబ్దమైపోయాడు. ఏసీ రూముల్లో ఉంటూ, 50 లక్షల ప్యాకేజీ తీసుకుంటున్న తను, ఆ యువకుడి ముందు చాలా చిన్నవాడిగా అనిపించాడు.

మనం నేర్చుకోవాల్సిన పాఠం:

-50°C చలిలో, 18,875 అడుగుల ఎత్తున, మృత్యు నీడలో ఆ యువకుడికి రోజుకు ₹600 కూలీ చాలా “పెద్దది”గా కనిపిస్తోంది.

దేశం కోసం ఏదో ఒకటి చేస్తున్నామనే ఆ భావనే వారి జీవితానికి అర్థాన్ని ఇస్తోంది.

సోషల్ మీడియాలో విషం చిమ్మేవారు, రాజకీయాల కోసం దొంగల కోసం ఉన్మాదులుగా ప్రవర్తించే వాళ్ళు, అనవసర ట్రోల్స్ బూతులతో గడిపేవాళ్ళు, నగరాల్లో కూర్చుని ఉపన్యాసాలు ఇచ్చేవారు.. ఆ గడ్డకట్టే చీకటిలో పది నిమిషాలు కూడా నిలబడలేరు.

దేశభక్తి అంటే కేవలం నినాదాలు చేయడం కాదు. అది త్యాగం, క్రమశిక్షణ, బాధ్యత నుండి పుడుతుంది.
మనం సుఖంగా పడుకున్నామంటే, అర్థరాత్రి 2 గంటల సమయంలో ఆ గడ్డకట్టే మంచులో మన కోసం ఎవరో భారాన్ని మోస్తున్నారని గుర్తుంచుకుందాం.

వారు ఉన్నారు కాబట్టే.. మనం ఉన్నాం!
