@ABiesiedin Nor do the UK police always offer interpreters body armour when we are working in potentially dangerous situations even when they themselves are kitted out in stab vests. I know from personal experience on a job on the 16th floor of a block of flats!
@MooreEdits I am currently interpreting remotely in a murder case sitting alongside a defendant who is finding the remote setting difficult and frustrating (as am I) but it has been deemed better for his welfare for him not to attend physically in the court room
