Urgent, please retweet to help Molly find an emergency foster or forever home, currently in #Blackpool#UK
URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED FOR 2 YO MOLLY‼️
🙏We really need your help to get this girl out of kennels in BLACKPOOL ASAP!🙏
We are proud to offer full Rescue back-up to all our dogs🫶. No dog left behind! But unfortunately we are currently in a very difficult situation, with multiple dogs in kennels costing £500 per month each!
💔 We are financially unable to continue at this rate, but for many of these dogs, this safety net is their only option due to a lack of suitable foster homes and their families being unable to keep them 💔
Molly is one of those dogs who has had to rely on this emergency lifeline❤️🩹. However, this beautiful girl does not deserve to spend her young life in kennels, and frankly, we cannot afford to pay these costs indefinitely 🥺
THIS IS AN URGENT APPEAL FOR A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME.
💛 Molly is a lovely girl who has lived in a home until quite recently. She is 20kg so a lovely size,. Bouncy, playful, and full of character, and lovely on the lead with great recall. But she can be insecure at times. She needs experienced owners who are confident with larger dogs and can guide her, work with her, and help her become the best version of herself 🌼
🏡At home, Molly can be protective and may patrol and guard her environment, so any potential adopter must be willing and able to continue working on this behaviour.
In return, Molly will shower you with love and become your best friend if you are willing to give her a chance 💗
Adult only home please.
Can live with another dog,🐕 cats and small furries🐈.
⚠️Please do not scroll past this plea. We are desperate to find homes for dogs like Molly and urgently need to get the dogs who are ready for home life out of kennels as soon as possible ⚠️

Very urgent, please retweet to help 2 dogs stay together, owner terminally ill #YORKSHIRE#UK 10 May 2026
APPEAL FOR FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME
This is a VERY urgent, and heartbreaking appeal to reunite 2 heartbroken girls 💔🚨
Meet Staffy cross WILLOW 🤎🌾… she came into kennels this week and is truly one of the most heartbreaking intakes we have had … not because she’s been neglected - anything but 🤎 Willow is so loved, and has been so well cared for by her mum (who rescued her herself), but due to a terminal diagnosis, she contacted us desperate for help with Willow as she may be moving into a hospice soon 😔
It was heartbreaking for her mum to leave her at kennels - poor Willow knew what was happening too and is understandably now beside herself and so so anxious 😓🤎
Here’s the even more upsetting situation where we need to appeal for your help… we only had room to take Willow, and her mum has another dog Roxy … but as we have dogs booked to come in, we couldn’t take her too - their mum thought they were not overly bonded, so could be seperated, but given how anxious Willow is, and knowing how depressed Roxy is now without her, we know that we urgently need to reunite these poor girls ASAP 🚨😔
A HUGE ask, but if anyone out there can offer a foster/home to help these heartbroken girls this really would mean the world not only to Willow and Roxy, but also to their mum who needs to know that both her girls are safe, happy and cared for and not have to worry about them at such a difficult time 🤎😔🤎
PLEASE, please get in touch if you can offer these poor girls a foster home so that they can be together (our kennels are much too small to fit both girls in together!!) 🚨🚨🚨 - Helping Yorkshire Poundies Rescue, registered British Charity

Please retweet to help Woody find a home #STOKE#UK
Available for adoption✅✅✅ Found 30 April #DUDLEY
Woody is an approx 6/7 year old male x staffie, he came in via the dog warden service and he has not been re-claimed or micro-chipped 🙁 we have given Woody his name and he has also now been with us nearly 2 weeks.
Due to woody being a stray this means we hold no history on woody at all, however since woody has been with us he has been a good clean boy in the kennels and sits very patiently, he is good on the lead and attentive of staff, woody does also know his commands!.
Once out of the kennel Woody likes to run around and play with us, however with toys he likes to chew his balls up and won't give them back, in the kennel woody also likes to play with his toys and also chew them, this does keep him busy, however woody doesn't chew his bed or bedding etc.
Overall Woody is a good boy and we cannot fault him here at all, we think he would suit a family with older children, other dogs would depend on a successful meet and greet.
Children 8+ as Woody may not like to share any found toys.
To arrange a meet and greet with woody please call us on 01782 304 130 11am until 4pm

Foster girl Leia the 6-year-old Husky is now looking for her forever home 🏠.
Leia is a VERY sweet girl who just adores human attention. She is an energetic girl who would make a great addition to an active family looking to share adventures 🗺️
Leia has only socialised with dogs a very small amount and does like to play but hasn't shared the same space in the home.
She isn't good with cats or small furries but is good with children.
Leia does have a bit of separation anxiety when her humans leave which needs continued work.
If you can offer this sweet girl a forever home please get in touch https://t.co/ZX4xAF2yVQ 💻

Please retweet to help Lulu find a home- she's been overlooked #YORKSHIRE#UK
Registered British Charity ✅
Details or apply for Lulu below👇
https://t.co/mJulJhUkNy
Lulu has recently suffered heartbreak and needs to find a family to help her restart her life . her world recently turned upside down when her owner passed away, and she ended up in Police kennels - she was understandably totally terrified.
Lulu is only 2.5 yrs old and has clearly led a sheltered life and has lost all she has ever known, so she is very timid at first of new people and will hide from them … but then once she has bonded, she clings to her ‘person’ and panics when she’s left alone - which is all totally understandable given what she’s been through.
She is so sweet, and has never once been grumbly or snappy (even with the vet!)
As she’s only young, she’s full of beans and LOVES her walks - she’s very active and those little legs can cover some ground! In the house she loves playing with her teddies, doing zoomies and being as close to her human as possible at all times!!
We need to find Lulu a home who want to help her be her best self , a family who can help give her the self confidence she really lacks - working with separation anxiety isn’t a quick fix so she will need lots of time and patience to help her.
She’d be amazing putting her paw to some dog activities too to use her clever brain and her busy little legs - she’s bright as a button and this would help with her confidence.
Lulu is an amazing little dog (8kg) - we feel that small breeds don’t get enough credit for how incredible they are . They’re not ‘just’ lapdogs!! Lulu is bright, active, full of personality, SO loving, hilarious, sensitive, in great health and has SO much love to give her new family - please don’t overlook her because she’s a little one.

Please retweet, all day every day across the #UK, dogs and cats are being dumped. When will someone act to stop breeding and online sales of pets ? Haven't we seen enough of this cruelty? Kittens dumped #Warrington
PLEASE DON’T DO THIS TO INNOCENT ANIMALS!!
Today our team received a very upsetting call from a school in #Padgate where they had discovered a mum cat and 4 newborn kittens locked in a plastic box. What is really distressing, is that the box was hidden from view, not destined to be found.
We believe the kittens to be 2 days old and it seems poor mum cat had to give birth in the box, trying to tend to her newborn kittens whilst locked in a confined space, with no water and a few scraps of dry biscuits to sustain her. Thank goodness they were found and brought to us straightaway! Mum is understandably bewildered, and will be going into a foster home with her kittens tomorrow, where they will hopefully recover from their ordeal.
Whilst we can appreciate times are hard and people are struggling, doing this to a cat you have chosen not to neuter, is not OK! Please..before it gets to this stage, pick up the phone and ask for help.

Please report anyone you suspect of illegal breeding to their local council licensing department or to your local RSCPA or SSPCA
If you need to rehome your pet contact you local registered animal charities. If they are full, ask to go on a waiting list or ask your local vet for advice.
Never rehome on a pet selling site or on social media, cruel people do not always look cruel.
Your pet could be used for breeding or as bait in cruel 'sports'.

#SUSSEX#UK SHELTER DOG CRISIS 💔💔💔💔💔💔
SADLY we are at crisis point financially and temporarily have to stop all intakes after four decades of helping the most vulnerable.
We are facing the most challenging time since I first founded the rescue some 46 years ago and financially crippled as so many others are ...
Arundawn is run by a tiny, dedicated team. We have always focused on helping the dogs that other rescues may overlook due to expensive medical conditions or special needs - the elderly, unwell and those in most desperate need of care and compassion. Over the years we have successfully rehomed more than 10,500 dogs nationwide, of all breeds & background.
However, since the Covid pandemic dog welfare in the UK has changed dramatically. The UK dog population rose from an estimated 10.1 million in early 2020 to around 13.5 million at the latest Dogs Trust Survey, with an additional 66,000 declared dogs imported from abroad during that time. Many of these animals were purchased on impulse during lockdown, and rescues across the UK are now seeing the long-term consequences... a huge ‘wave’ of abandoned and surrendered pets. Many have been bred with little regard to the parents health or temperament, just with the aim of making an easy profit. We are no longer the nation of animal lovers that we were once know as.
Over the last couple of years we have seen unprecedented numbers of dogs needing help. It is heart breaking. People are struggling financially, moving home, or realising they can’t manage the dog they bought during lockdown. It is not just Arundawn but the entire rescue network in the UK that is under extreme pressure.
We are a self-funded, not-for-profit organisation and sadly this crisis has left us in dire straits for the first time. Arundawn receives no government support and relies entirely on public donations. Rising costs have pushed the rescue to breaking point:
In real terms – Since the beginning of March 2025 the OVERALL average costs are as follows :
- 153 Adoptions in this time averaging an adoption donation of £275.49 per dog
- In this same period the average direct cost to Arundawn for each dog was £614.26
- To note that in this time we have taken full responsibility for 160 dogs
This is a ‘loss’ of £338.77 for every dog adopted in this period
To put things into perspective
• We currently have 32 ‘ Shelter’ dogs in permanent foster
• 13 permanently living with Elaine at the rescue plus 6 awaiting forever homes
• 19 in permanent foster homes for whom we are responsible for veterinary costs, food etc for most of them
• 17 dogs in kennels at the rescue
• 11 dogs in council pound kennels awaiting our help
• 21 dogs in foster needing their forever homes
These numbers & associated costs are unsustainable and we cannot see light at the end of the tunnel at the moment.
With fewer suitable homes available and many adopters reluctant to take on older dogs or those with medical needs or even minor ‘behavioural’ problems such as jumping up, lead pulling etc! The situation is critical.
We have always managed to keep going, no matter how tough things got but, right now, we need a great deal of help to survive. Without more support, we fear for the future of both the rescue itself and the many dogs who have nowhere else to go.
We are really hoping that local residents, businesses, and animal lovers generally can get involved by donating, fostering, or spreading the word about the rescue’s work.
We would love to hear from you if you have any good ideas….
We will be setting up a fundraiser to help through the immediate times but really need long term sustainable solutions to enable us to continue the work we all love and help the dogs that need us most.

Is there NO end to the number of irresponsible imbiciles allowing their dogs to become pregnant and then DUMPING THEM!!!!! #SUSSEX#UK
ARIEL
This little girl is very lucky to have landed here! She is safe and warm and able to rear her pups in peace!
She arrived with us last THURSDAY! She came in with 3 others having been handed to another rescue who had no space for them.
Through the night she went into full stage labour and I am pretty sure she had been holding on until she felt safe.
All the placentas had separated pre delivery and the first puppy was delivered deceased together with with decaying membranes. Amazingly she continued to deliver 6 live puppies over the next 12 hours.
She was a bag of bones under her matted, filthy and smelly coat. She has been carefully bathed since delivering the puppies but obviously we cannot do too much just yet.
The male dog that arrived with her... ERIC... is clearly bonded and most likely the father of the pups ...
They have been outstanding in every way - Mum even takes the pups to the end of the whelping box to be near the male!
