These are wise words. Every venture has market risk and execution risk. The steps in @agazdecki 's entrepreneurship path start from zero market risk (in Step 1) and dial it up as we move to Step 2 & 3, while the entrepreneur slowly learns to execute at every step.
My recommended path for entrepreneurs...
1st company - build profitable agency around your skillsets to learn
2nd company - invest revenue from agency to bootstrap a sellable asset like a profitable SaaS startup
3rd company - swing for the fences like Google or @acquiredotcom
@joulee In managing myself, I focus everyday on the input, while noting down the outputs and outcomes as they materialise. Over time, it will teach me to better tweak my inputs for better outcomes (that’s the hope).
