Happy International Working Women's Day!
Comrade Brinda Karat of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) and a group of comrades of various ages in Nakti, Santhal Parganas (Jharkhand, India).
This region has a long history of rebellion against oppression, impressively during the Santhal Hool or Uprising of 1855 - when almost every single Santhal woman in the region rose up alongside the men against early colonial rule (legendary women, such as the sisters Phulo and Jhano Murmu, are still referred to as icons).
Long live the struggle for genuine freedom and dignity!
Tribals' long march celebrates #RepublicDay. As the CPI(M) led a tribals' march from Nashik to Mumbai for their land rights, they paid floral tributes to the tricolour on their way. The celebration was marked on the National Highway from Nashik to Mumbai. CPI(M) leader Ashok Dhawale said that the march will continue till the Chief Minister meets the delegation to address their concerns, reports @vinivdvc.

Palghar Administration’s Arrogance Meets the People’s Resolve
After marching over 55 km in two days, tens of thousands of poor peasant women and men reached the Palghar District Collectorate this evening. Instead of showing basic humanity, the administration and police blocked the agitators from camping in the vast collectorate compound, a space routinely allowed for such struggles.
This insensitive decision has forced a peaceful gherao of the entire Collectorate, and the responsibility for the Palghar–Boisar highway blockade rests squarely with the administration.
CPIM(M) calls upon all activists and supporters to mobilise in even greater numbers tomorrow morning, from every village and hamlet, to build maximum pressure when talks are held with the District Collector.
This just struggle is receiving overwhelming support and sympathy from the people of Palghar district.
The message is clear, you cannot stop the march of justice by bureaucratic stubbornness.
Remembering the legendary communist Rosa Luxemburg!
Brilliant Marxist theoretician and communist revolutionary,Rosa Luxemburg was brutally murdered by the social democratic agents of the German ruling classes on January 15, 1919. History will always remember Red Rosa as she was called, as the voice of the working class, clear, uncompromising with contempt for those who gave up their principles for crumbs at the table of the ruling classes.
Long Live Rosa Luxemburg!
“Captured” implies legality.
“Seized” implies authority.
“Kidnapped” tells the truth—so it’s off-limits.
When a newsroom bans words, it isn’t reporting. It’s managing narratives.
This is the same linguistic machinery that produced “collateral damage,” enhanced interrogation,” and “security operations.”
BBC journalists have been banned from describing the kidnapped Venezuelan leader as having been kidnapped.
The BBC News Editor has sent this to BBC journalists.
@TheSouthfirst Excellent to see LDF govt unambiguously continue with their welfare agenda despite the non-stop false propaganda and fear-mongering by capitalist apologists about the state’s financial ‘crisis’ 👏
Extreme Poverty Alleviation Project(EPEP) is set to make Kerala India's first extreme poverty-free state. With 0.55% multidimensional poverty vs 14.96% national average (NITI Aayog),it's a model built on data, dignity and people power.
#KeralaModel#KeralaLeads#PovertyFreeKerala

When Donald Trump repeatedly insults and disregards India, PM Modi’s silence is deafening. How can a leader who won’t speak up for the nation claim to safeguard its sovereignty and dignity?
The world cannot stay silent.
The people of Gaza are being starved, bombed, and caged in the largest open-air prison on earth. This isn’t a crisis — it’s a genocide.
🇵🇸 There is a stage 5 famine in Gaza.
Babies are dying from hunger. Medical aid is blocked. Water is contaminated. Entire neighborhoods are reduced to rubble. And Israel does this with the backing of so-called democratic governments.
🛥️ That’s why we sail with the Freedom Flotilla.
Because when governments fail, the people must act.
We are sailing to break Israel’s illegal siege and to deliver aid, solidarity, and hope to Palestinians.
But we need YOU to help amplify this mission:
🔊 SHARE every post
📢 TALK about Gaza
📝 DEMAND your leaders act
📣 FORCE Israel to follow international law
✊ STAND with Palestinians in their fight for freedom and dignity
Freedom of movement is a right. Not a privilege.
Palestinians have been denied this right for decades.
The blockade on Gaza is a crime.
Remaining silent is complicity.
So do something. Start now.
Because history is watching. And the people will not forget those who stood by — or those who stood up.
