We are lucky enough to live in a country where we can still organize, mobilize and vote against this movement and for something far better. Many people around the world don't get that opportunity. We should honor that privilege.
The two biggest US stories right now:
-Trump promises authoritarian campaign of violence in nationwide followup to Jan. 6
-The world’s richest man, a South African who cannot be president, is puppeteering the entire Trump operation, buying votes and running his campaign
Once the Trump campaign realized there was nothing he could say that our press wouldn't ignore or smooth over, there was nothing holding them back from an all-lies approach. The refs fell asleep, so one of the teams started carrying knives onto the field for every play.
Can't get over the fact that we just learned that Trump secretly shipped COVID testing machines to Vladimir Fucking Putin as hospitals faced shortages & Americans died — arguably the most scandalous revelation about a candidate in history — and our whole free press just shrugged.
What has this country come to if the revelation that Trump secretly sent COVID testing machines to Putin while thousands of Americans were dying, in part because of a shortage of testing machines here, doesn't disqualify him to be President?
Overdose deaths are plummeting, thanks to Biden making Naloxone available over the counter. If you want a better country, the Democratic Party is here for you.
It's ok to admit these two things are both true at the same time:
1. It's heartbreaking and unacceptable that Donald Trump was once again the target of political violence.
2. No leader has done more to inspire and endorse political violence than Donald Trump.
even if you don't think Kamala would be a great president, if she can bait donald trump into silly obvious traps, over and over again, then how do you think foreign leaders will handle him
