I feel really hurt to share this and have to talk about the deepfake video of me being spread online.

Something like this is honestly, extremely scary not only for me, but also for each one of us who today is vulnerable to so much harm because of how technology is being misused. 

Today, as a woman and as an actor, I am thankful for my family, friends and well wishers who are my protection and support system. But if this happened to me when I was in school or college, I genuinely can’t imagine how could I ever tackle this.

We need to address this as a community and with urgency before more of us are affected by such identity theft.

1.7cr dog bites in India in one year.
Around 50000 bites in one day.
30 bites every minute.

A lot of these bites tear in to little children’s muscles.

Hundreds die every year.

Parag Desai, heir to a 2000cr company died while trying to get away from stray dogs this week.

Without rhetoric or emotion, I request the animal lovers to give solutions to this problem.

My technical books - System Design Interview Vol 1, Vol 2, and Machine Learning System Design Interview - are being illegally sold on Amazon .in (Amazon India).

I’ve been battling this issue for months. My publisher and I have filed dozens of copyright claims, conducted test purchases, and collected evidence - but the problem persists. I feel lost and helpless.

100% of my books sold on Amazon .in (Amazon India) are pirated copies. This means:
- More and more developers are receiving low-quality, pirated books
- The pirates profit off my hard work
- My books are getting hundreds of incorrect 1-star reviews due to piracy

The pirated books are linked to my Amazon listings, so reviews meant for the pirates end up on my product pages.

If you are in India, the books are now exclusively sold through Shroff Publishers.

You can help by:
- Sharing the post to spread awareness as widely as possible
- If you work at Amazon, please help escalate the issue
