When I signed up for this position, I knew the enormity of the challenge. I knew that the decades of incompetence and corruption cannot be fixed in a few months. I knew that my time is limited. I knew that no political party will support us. I knew that the caretaker government will be an easy target for criticism. I knew the opportunity cost of stepping away from my businesses.

But how could I sleep peacefully at night knowing that I might be able to help in this dire situation? InshAllah will leave in a few months with our heads held high, leaving my beloved country in a better state than when I took up this challenge …
