September 28.
Today marks three months since we lost Wang-Wang and her puppies.
Time has passed, and the seasons have begun to change.
But Wang-Wang and her babies have not been forgotten.
From one small village in China, their names have crossed borders, traveled beyond Asia, and reached people around the world.
For Wang-Wang and her puppies.
For the animals who are still suffering today.
And for the lives yet to be born.
Around the world, people continue to ask:
“What can we do?”
“How can we make a difference?”
And in their own ways, from their own communities, they continue to speak up and take action.
Three months ago today, Wang-Wang and her newborn puppies lost their lives in an act of horrific cruelty involving minors in China and their guardians.
Our anger has not disappeared with time.
If anything, it has only grown stronger.
The fight to establish meaningful laws that protect animals in China may be a long one.
But this case is not fading away. It is reaching more people, crossing more borders, and drawing greater attention both inside China and around the world.
With every person who learns what happened to Wang-Wang and her puppies, more eyes are turned toward those responsible — and more voices are demanding accountability.
That scrutiny will not disappear. Wherever they go, what they did will follow them.
They may change their names, their appearances, or where they live. But they cannot change the truth, and they cannot erase what they did.
We will not forget.
We will not look away.
And we will not give up.
But neither will we allow the cruelty of that day to become the only story the world remembers about Wang-Wang.
Wang-Wang was more than a victim.
She was gentle.
She was intelligent.
She was expressive, affectionate, and deeply loved.
And she was a mother.
Inside that small body was extraordinary courage. She loved her puppies fiercely, protected them, and cared for them with everything she had.
Before the tragedy, there was life.
There were kind people who cared for her.
There were peaceful days with Laifu and the other puppies from her first litter.
And later, there were the four little puppies she welcomed into the world and raised with so much love.
Her life was not defined by the people who took it from her.
She had known kindness.
She had known love.
She had known happiness.
Those days mattered too.
In fact, the happy days were far more numerous than the terrible ones.
She was loved.
And she had lives of her own to love.
Please remember that part of her story, too.
Remember not only how Wang-Wang died,
but how she lived.
Wang-Wang, and your little ones:
We will remember you.
We will keep telling your story.
And we will not give up.

It was premeditated and done in secluded spot, proving they knew what they were doing was wrong.
PupMom and her pups deserve #JusticeForWangwangAndHerPuppies including a law against animal cruelty in #China🇨🇳. China doesn't even have that!
