@RacePopeIII@TherealChe57292 It’d actually be the other way around if anything as Iran without sanctions would flood the U.S. market with oil and decapitate any American oil company still producing anything, as long as Iran maintains some basic capital controls this is impossible.
@JamesBaker865@mojorisn75@pazarts97 The U.S. blew some shit up. Is that all you people do? What did you actually achieve? Anything Iran lost can easily be reconstructed with the new massive revenue streams you’ve given them.
@Peter_Iceland@JacobL1994_ Iran had applied enough pressure with its ballistics not to deplete them, but to draw on gulf and U.S. air defenses and do damage to the gulf states and U.S. military bases, that was good planning. The U.S. then got on its hands and knees and begged Iran to stop.
@Peter_Iceland@JacobL1994_ consider opportunity cost here, if Iran does too much damage to the gulf states it risks reinvigorating them, the U.S., and Israel, but if it just puts enough pressure on the allies and makes them fear that happening the chance of them giving up is higher.
@Peter_Iceland@JacobL1994_ “Secret warehouses” they’ve been known to use underground complexes genius, those are extremely difficult to hit, stop coping.
@mojorisn75@pazarts97 OH RIGHT and that’s not mentioning that american oil will be completely wiped out by Iranian oil entering the market, like fracking? well buddy, it’s going to disappear in an instant if the Iran sanctions end, America will become more reliant on foreign oil than ever before.
@mojorisn75@pazarts97 and then some. allowing Iranian oil to flood the market and unfreezing Iranian assets is a good way to make Iran the dominant regional power in the Middle East and propel the position of Russia and China much further.
@cannedalphabet@RedGreenBC@mojorisn75@pazarts97 they lost billions of dollars worth of manufacturing and gained new billions of dollars in oil revenue and sanction relief that will more than cover their losses (which weren’t nearly as significant as you think as all their shit is underground)
@Peter_Iceland@JacobL1994_ If Iran was really about to run out of ballistic missiles then why did America surrender? Why would America commit to unconditional surrender if Iran didn’t have a significant ballistic threat?
@Peter_Iceland@JacobL1994_ Has it been destroyed? Where’s your evidence? They still have thousands in underground bunkers that have now been uncovered again. And plus, they have a new massive revenue stream that can get any disruptions patched up in no time.
