@JJAndinoMD @TheAACU@DaveFromUrology@JHeinlenMD I agree too. Virtual visits for the right patient are very valuable. Cost savings, convenience, more efficiency are just a few positives. The reimbursement should reflect the quality of the visit. Documentation is key! #aacuchat
@kvnkoo@TheAACU I agree. The pandemic has shown that with increased coverage of telehealth, Urologists have embraced virtual visits. And patients love it too.
@TheAACU Expanded coverage is crucial for the sustainability of this new way of seeing our patients. Offering different forms of digital health will help patients to have better access. If the payers will reimburse for telehealth, then Urologists will continue to use it in their practices
@TheAACU Urologists are one of the groups that have taken advantage of telemedicine. Whether it's educating patients on stone prevention, post op visits, consultations for prostate cancer, there are so many options for patients and providers.
@TheAACU TeleUrology can be used as tool to see patients more efficiently. Expanded coverage is key to promoting this new innovation. It will affect the practice by increasing revenue and better patient access.
