@WycombeDJ@HarryWare07 That’s fair enough, everyone is entitled to their opinion. Sad to say, it isn’t going away, Not good if you’re a graphic designer.
@ccfc_07@ByronSafc The keeper is a professional too, so should know better that to leave the trailing arm. Yes, initially it’s a dive, but he’s made contact. If you make any contact in that scenario you run the risk of giving away a penalty.
@silverback41@LyddTownLadies I mean this with the utmost respect, but the level of referee will generally be relevant to the level of football. There are some VERY good grassroots referees, but some are still learning. And, we all have bad days at the office, I’ve had my fair share.
@silverback41@LyddTownLadies I wish the players a speedy recovery. All you can do is voice your concerns to the league. Sounds like a horrid game. I’ve witnessed a few! Just try and keep your faith in referees, I promise you we all have good intentions.
@silverback41@LyddTownLadies Not sure I agree there. I officiate women’s football at regional level, and am an AR on the National League. I referee those games no differently to a men’s game. So long as the laws are applied correctly, decisions and opinions are merely subjective.
@silverback41@LyddTownLadies I hear where you are coming from, ultimately a Referees main concern should always be player safety. But, there are games where even a barrage of cards and sending offs still do not stop some players behaving in a poor manner. A red card won’t stop an idiot.
@refsupportuk That would be carnage. It won’t be an “unsuccessful challenge” its be a “yeah but, no but, are you joking ref”. Does nothing other than invite controversy. Leave the game alone!
@talkSPORT Using “breaks” in play to have quick tactical talks has always been the case. Should be no different in the women’s game. If it changes, it has to be across all football.
#LiverpoolFC Vs #ManchesterCity What an ending! Whilst the correct law was applied, just give the goal and avoid a 3 match ban. Surely that’s what everyone wanted?
