@MatthewStadlen Replace the tax on estates with a tax on those inheriting. It's unearned income for those individuals, so tax them accordingly. Would stop the complaints of being taxed twice

@Hotdogs4T @LizWebsterSBF UK is now outside the EU food safety and monitoring systems. There's little to stop unscrupulous traders dumping unwanted/unsafe food in the UK market eg relabelling out of date products - normally this would be checked at a border, much as happens for non EU imports

@DanielLambert29 Even Bournemouth airport is £5 and it's virtually impossible to drop off on the road outside to avoid the fee. Plus there's virtually no public transport (a few badly timed buses IIRC 2 per day)

@edwinhayward It's had one huge positive effect - killing stone dead the desire to leave the EU amongst other populist right wing parties across the continent. Admittedly not a benefit for those in Britain, but a benefit to those of us living in the EU.

@aarongibson @BCPCouncil 👍 I'm from the BCP area but now live in FR and it's sad how many UK urban areas are forgotten about when it comes to public transport. It'd be great if the UK considered an equivalent to the versement transport and took a long term view on development but not holding my breath
